Don't Persecute the Coat!

I want to talk about Joseph's coat!

Joseph's father, Jacob, in the Bible, gave him a special coat.

It was a coat of favor, a coat of honor, a special gift! It was bright, colorful and beautiful! It stood out, and his older brothers hated him for it it! They would have loved to strip Joseph of His coat of many colors! They resented the gift their father had given their younger brother, and they wanted to kill him for it! 

Poor young Joseph! He was young, pure, and full of love for his brothers! He couldn't understand why his older brothers resented him! Here God was giving him foretelling dreams and blessing Joseph with wisdom and abilities beyond theirs and they hated him for it!

But in the end, God had a plan to use the gifts the brothers hated to bless them and save their lives in a coming famine!

Oh how this is such a representation of the church today! God has given many diverse gifts to His children and dressed specific ones in colorful "coats" for a reason. Whenever His children put those coats on and display them as they're supposed to, God's other children want to rip the coats off of them through jealousy and persecution!  

God didn't intend for us to hide our gifts!

God gives gifts and favors it's for a reason, for a specific call! The biggest hindrances to the work of the Lord being accomplished and going forth is jealous, lukewarm, religious baby Christians who want to strip the "coats" off of their brothers and sisters!!

The body of Christ needs to grow up by moving in the LOVE OF GOD and stop looking resentfully at the gift God's given others and start developing the gift that God gave them and develop fruit for the Kingdom! We all have a work to do! Just do what God has given you to do.

Instead of hindering another's work out of jealousy, assist them and encourage them! The truth is, it's not easy to wear the coat that God puts on us! It's not easy to stand out and display the gift! 

When one steps up to do the things God has asked them to do, it's much like a baby bird jumping out of the nest to fly. It's a little scary to use their wings for the first time. 

They may fall, but they must use their wings! What a waste it would be for the baby bird to go back to the nest and never try again because it was uncomfortable!

Ultimately, you don't want to be the reason another Christian hides his coat, as you may pay a heavy price!  

That may be the very person God's going to use to bless you in the end!

You Have A Protector in Times Like These!

In light of yesterday's events in Paris, the Lord has released me to write about a dream I had recently but didn't feel able to share it until now. 

God wants us to know that He is our Protection in these perilous times, so please read all the way to the end!! 

During the evening of October 27th of this year, I had a dream which seemed to span the entire night long. I woke up to it in the morning with the Lord speaking to me about it. 

My dream:  

The dream began with my husband and I sleeping in the living room on the floor. (It may have been because I was actually sleeping on the floor in the living room that night with my youngest son in a blanket fort that he had made.)

IN THE DREAM, my husband was sleeping on his side with his back to the door that went to the garage that opened up to the backyard. This garage door that was in the living room had a big window in it in which you could easily see into the garage from the living room. I was sleeping on my side facing my husband and therefore facing the garage door.

Early in the dream I awoke to see a man inside the garage crouching down next to the door so I couldn't see him, but I could see the top of his head in the window. It was apparent that he had been peeking in at us and hiding.

Alarmed with fear, I quietly attempted to wake my husband up to let him know their was an intruder in our garage spying on us! I was shaking him softly and pleading with him to wake up, BUT HE WOULDN'T WAKE UP!

I then fell back to sleep in my dream because the next time I awoke in my dream it seemed like much time had passed and suddenly as I awoke I saw three men's heads hiding at the door! 

Again, I attempted to wake up my husband, but was unable to wake him up! I couldn't understand how he could sleep that deeply with me urgently trying to awaken him.

I realized that I would have to take matters into my own hands to defend our family if they were to come in, but I felt it was more appropriate to say, WHEN THEY CAME IN!  

I knew that they had no good intent to be there! I got up and felt around for something to protect myself with. Looking for a sharp or heavy object to grab, I was disappointed that I could find nothing adequate for my protection in that room. I was too afraid to go into the kitchen to get a knife because I was not sure if it was safe in there. I finally found a butter knife on a bookshelf, and then another.

Here I was with two butter knives against three grown men lurking in my back garage! As I was up getting the butter knives I saw a curtain open up in another window in the living room on the same wall as the garage door and one of the men peeked in at me.

For some reason, the curtain was on the outside of the window, instead of the inside. I came back and laid down next to my husband and I fell back to sleep.

Again, it seemed like much of the night passed. I then awoke again and looked up to see the light on in the garage and it seemed that their was much going on, SO I TOOK COURAGE AND STOOD UP and looked out into the garage to see a whole group of men all in white t-shirts lined up in the garage all facing the house at a distance as if they were waiting for the right moment and they were going to infiltrate the house. I felt that their attack was imminent. 

Again, I URGENTLY TRIED TO WAKE UP MY HUSBAND telling him their were men outside about to come in and attack us...BUT IT WAS TO NO AVAIL! I finally realized I had to move and MOVE NOW!

I left the room to get my children out of the house. I found my youngest son, who was asleep, but I couldn't find my older son.

I picked up my sleeping son in my arms and I burst out my front door not knowing what to expect outside.  I didn't know if I was going to find a front yard full of men as well, but as I went outside I found it looked normal. THERE WAS NO APPEARANCE OF ANYTHING WRONG. 

I ran down the sidewalk to my neighbor's house a few houses down and banged on her door to which she asked who it was before she opened the door. I let her know it was me and she opened it up. When she saw me she invited me in and told me I could lay my son on her bed. I laid him down and IMMEDIATELY HIT MY KNEES and began crying out loud to the Lord above, 

"OH GOD MY FATHER, I PLEAD WITH YOU TO FIGHT THIS BATTLE FOR US RIGHT NOW, IN JESUS NAME!! INTERVENE ON OUR BEHALF, OH LORD! INTERVENE RIGHT NOW FOR MY HUSBAND WHO IS ASLEEP, AND FOR MY SON WHO I COULDN'T FIND!"

I considered for a moment if I should go back to search for my teenage son and to wake up my husband. I didn't know if the men had attacked yet, and if so, I knew that I would have no chance against them! 

THEN THE THOUGHT CAME TO ME: I knew that God had definite plans for my older son and that He would SURELY PROTECT HIM BECAUSE THEY HADN'T BEEN FULFILLED YET so I chose to stay in safety with my younger son. I then woke up to the early morning light. 

Upon waking up I AT ONCE began speaking to the Lord asking Him for understanding of the dream's meaning and He began to explain. 

The first thing He said was, "I am just waiting for the final ones to arrive before they attack; before I release them." 

I asked for more details and these are the details the Lord gave me:

"I am bringing radical Islam into this land, and many are asleep." 

I asked about the reason why they all had on white t-shirts, and He said, 

"They think they are pure and so they are vigilant about what they do. There will be many more who come to this land. They are militant in what they do. They think they are righteous, they think they are holy, but they are wicked and evil to the core.

They will bring an uprising into the land and many will flee to another land, and many will stay and fight; and many of those asleep will be slaughtered by the sword. Your husband represented the many who are asleep. There are a greater portion of those that are asleep than those that are awake. 

CRY OUT FOR THEM TO WAKE UP!" 

I asked why I was able to take my youngest son to safety. He said, "It represents that I will remove you from this land to safety before the attack begins. I will remove many from the land." 

I asked why I couldn't find my older son. He said, "Your older son represented those who will stay and fight." 

I then asked why I couldn't wake up my husband.

Sadly He said, "It means that there will be many that will not ever wake up." 

Then I asked Him why were the men in the back of the house and not the front. He said, "Because they are being brought in the back door of your country, through broken down borders. They are not being brought in legitimately." 

I asked Him why were they peeking in my windows, and He said, "They are keeping their eyes on you, learning your ways, even studying you."

I then asked what the butter knives represented.

He said, "The butter knives represented that you're ill-equipped to handle what's coming!"

I asked Him why it took all night for the dream to occur, why did it seem to span the entire night? 

"That represents that there are many already present but they are waiting for the full number to be present before they attack with a great onslaught!"

I asked how long it would be before they are all in place and would begin their attack. He told me,

"I have pushed it back for a season for a greater harvest; for more to wake up."

Then He said, 

"DON'T GET SLEEPY WAITING FOR IT THINKING YOU HAVE TIME! 

Your work commences now that I've raised you up for. I need you to TELL THE WORLD I'M COMING! TELL THE WORLD TO PREPARE..GET READY FOR MY COMING; FOR MY RETURN!! 

As alarming and upsetting as this is, THERE IS HOPE FOR US, as represented clearly in the dream by me escaping to safety and the Lord's words telling me that He will remove many from this land BEFORE the attack, and also that He has pushed the time back a season to give us more time to warn others and wake them up from the slumber of unbelief and ignorance!  

People are HIGHLY DISTRACTED by their schedules and their IDOLATRY OF SELF AND THINGS!! 

The Lord said to me a year ago:

"The people of the world are so busy. They are consumed with their busyness and they are missing out what I have to offer them. I want them back. I died for them. I paid a price for them, and they're too busy to know. They're too busy to listen, so I will come and I will take them down. I will take down their systems; I will take down their schedules. I will pull them away from what they love. I will cause them to hear Me. I will cause them to listen and I will carry them to My table and I will feed them. I will feed them food they have not known and they will eat and be filled and I will save them." 

This taking down of schedules and systems is not going to be a pretty scene! It's called TRIBULATION! And for those who believe that they are making it out of here before the tribulation, they are going to be disillusioned, because it's the trying of the tribulation that is going to be the fire that purifies their hearts for His coming!

The Bible says in Zechariah 13:9, 

"And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”

and in Malachi 3:2-3,

"But who can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the Lord."

I encourage you to put your own schedules down NOW! I encourage you to seek God now while you have the opportunity.  

Make time for God BEFORE He comes and tears down man's systems and schedules! For you may be spared the cost you may pay for having delayed it!

For those that know God intimately will be spared and protected!! 

HERE'S THE HOPE: 

God has made us a promise! It's our protection, and it's called:

                            God Our Protector

 Whoever goes to the Lord for safety,
   whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty,
 can say to him,
   “You are my defender and protector.
    You are my God; in you I trust.”
 He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers
    and from all deadly diseases.
 He will cover you with his wings;
    you will be safe in his care;

    his faithfulness will protect and defend you.

 You need not fear any dangers at night
    or sudden attacks during the day
    or the plagues that strike in the dark
    or the evils that kill in daylight.

 A thousand may fall dead beside you,
    ten thousand all around you,
    but you will not be harmed.
 You will look and see
    how the wicked are punished.

 You have made the Lord your defender,
    the Most High your protector,
 and so no disaster will strike you,
    no violence will come near your home.

 God will put his angels in charge of you
    to protect you wherever you go.
 They will hold you up with their hands
    to keep you from hurting your feet on the stones.
 You will trample down lions and snakes,
    fierce lions and poisonous snakes.

 God says, “I will save those who love me
    and will protect those who acknowledge me as Lord.

 When they call to me, I will answer them;
    when they are in trouble, I will be with them.
    I will rescue them and honor them.
 I will reward them with long life;
    I will save them.”

DECLARE THIS OVER YOURSELF. DECLARE THIS OVER YOUR FAMILY. 

Although perilous times are surely coming, God will hide you in His hand! 

You're not sure how that could happen? Trust Him! He is intelligent enough to make our universe in perfect order; design our bodies as an intricate masterpiece, He is fully capable of keeping you safe! Especially since He's setting the whole scene up! 

One day after reading in the Word about end time prophetic events, I was a bit fearful of what would happen to myself and my children in the middle of it all! That's when I heard Him say,

"Nancy, Did I not say that I would protect you and your family? Did I not say that you will be doing things that I have spoken to you to do? Do not worry. Do not be afraid. Do you not think that if I set this disaster up that I will protect you from it? I will protect you and your family. And you will do things that I have spoken. I am giving you a platform to speak from. Speak out. Tell them. Shout it from the rooftops and tell them. Tell them to prepare. I can only protect those who prepare. Tell them to prepare by getting into My words, by coming closer to My Spirit; stop playing the game of religion and tradition and begin to seek and develop a relationship with Me and My Spirit."

SO DO IT, PEOPLE!! BEGIN TO SEEK THE LORD! TAKE A DAY, OR A WEEK OFF! TURN YOUR TELEVISION OFF! TURN YOUR XBOX AND YOUR PLAYSTATIONS OFF!

TELL YOUR FRIENDS "GOODBYE!" AND TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONES AND GET ALONE IN YOUR ROOMS, ON A MOUNTAIN, AT A LAKE, UNDER A TREE, IN A PARK, YOUR GARAGE, ANYWHERE ALONE WITH GOD!!

GET ON YOUR KNEES, OR YOUR FACES, AND CRY OUT TO HIM!! OPEN UP A BIBLE AND READ IT ALOUD!! JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD!! THEN BE QUIET AND LISTEN TO HIM! LET HIM SPEAK TO YOU!! AND THEN DO WHAT HE SAYS!!

CONTINUE THIS PROCESS OVER AND OVER AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE AROUND TO FIT HIS SCHEDULE FOR YOU!

DEVELOP AN INTIMACY WITH THE LORD! GOING TO CHURCH ONCE A WEEK AS A ROUTINE IS NOT AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD! SEEK HIS FACE BY PUTTING YOURS TO THE GROUND! SING TO HIM! LOVE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND STRENGTH! 

Okay, I'll stop shouting, but I cannot stress this enough!! The time is NOW! There is no more time! If you put it off and say I'll do it later, there will be no later! 

Please now, take the opportunity to ask Him into your heart! Rededicate your life to Him! Commit to Jesus! Say: 

Dear Father, 

Come into my heart! Forgive me of my sins! Wash me, cleanse me, and set me free! I thank you for dying on the cross for me. I believe that You have risen from the dead, and that YOU ARE COMING BACK AGAIN FOR ME! Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me a passion for the lost; a hunger for the things of God, and a holy boldness to tell others about You and give them what I have been given! Please help me to change my life around for you! Help me remove every distraction that keeps me from You, and HELP ME TO KNOW YOU INTIMATELY!! 

In Jesus Name, Amen. 

NOW, keep coming back here to this blog for more help! I will continue to share what I have been given! I love you, and it's my mandate from heaven to prepare as many people as possible to be ready for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ! 

HE IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN!! 

Reflect a Grateful Heart and Be Whole!

GRATITUDE IS A SPIRIT THAT WILL SPREAD LIFE and HEALING! 

No matter what is going on in your life today, begin to think upon the beauty that is around you! Absolutely nothing, NOTHING, is going on that you cannot find something to be grateful for! It's called PROPER PERSPECTIVE!! 

Today is the third anniversary of my daughter Amanda's birthday since she went home to be with the Lord almost four years ago.

As I was contemplating what I could write about that would not only honor her but also the Lord, I couldn't help think about THE SPIRIT OF GRATITUDE! And the fact that we are now in the month of November, which is America's month to celebrate being thankful, it is MOST FITTING! 

Amanda was my second born out of five children. What I remember about Amanda that stands out most is how she would always come back and say THANK YOU, MOMMY AND DADDY in a neat and thoughtful way whenever we did something special for them. 

 Like on Christmas, Easter or Valentine's Day, she would create a card or a dressed up letter to say THANK YOU and draw pictures of all the things we gave her! This always touched my heart to think of a little child being thoughtful enough to turn around and come back with a gesture of gratitude! It made her stand out!

And it's not that it made the others seem like ungrateful children, because they most certainly WERE NOT!

If I can brag on my children for a moment, I feel like I have the BEST 5 ON THE PLANET!! GOD SURELY BLESSED ME WITH THE MOST WONDERFUL CHILDREN!! I consider myself to be the MOST BLESSED AMONG WOMEN!! 

But it's just that HER ACTS OF GRATITUDE SHINED OUT AS A LESSON FROM GOD! 

I believe that every child that comes into a home is a GIFT FROM THE ALMIGHTY ABOVE packed full of characteristics and attributes that are needed somehow for that particular family that they are born into; and with Amanda came a wide display of BEAUTIFUL GIFTS from a LOVING FATHER ABOVE for our family and one of those gifts being A  DISPLAY OF GRATITUDE, or A THANKFUL HEART! 

This unusual thing about Amanda has echoed in my heart for years since her life has so greatly touched mine! Even though her TRAGIC AND UNTIMELY DEATH at sixteen years old almost four years ago, nearly ripped my heart in two, forever changing my life, I FEEL A SPECIAL GRATITUDE INSTEAD to a LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER for giving ME the opportunity for being the LUCKY ONE to be her mother!! 

Her life and her death have both been a thing of beauty and pain; a wonder for me to learn from! Her life was a true and unusual blessing as she was one of the most loving and gifted children; a life of memories of joy and fun I will always treasure...

 

AND her death was a thing of pain and sorrow so great that it catapulted me straight into the COMFORTING AND LOVING ARMS OF JESUS CHRIST! It has resulted in me knowing my God and Father INTIMATELY and helped me create a RELATIONSHIP LIKE NO OTHER that will never be ripped away from me, bringing me EVERLASTING LIFE AND PROMISE!

Her death brought me ever so close to God, which resulted in me understanding what her life AND her death was really about! HER LIFE WAS A GIFT, NOT ONLY TO ME, BUT TO A LOST AND DYING WORLD;  a seed to springboard many ministries that will ultimately result in the salvation of many!

So today on her birthday, instead of feeling sorry for myself that I cannot see her and celebrate with her, I feel grateful for the PRECIOUS TIME I did have with her, and I want to thank her and God for that!! I choose to see the SILVER LINING IN THIS!! 

I am reminded of one of my most favorite Bible stories! It's the story when Jesus healed ten lepers, and one of those was a man who was overwhelmed with a spirit of gratitude and came back and gave thanks to Jesus. As a result of his display of gratitude, the leper got more from Him!

Not only was he healed from leprosy, but as a result of his returning to give thanks to the Lord, he was restored and made whole!! That meant for him that his skin would be new, as though he had never been leprous to begin with! The other nine lepers would still carry their scars to remind them; and sometimes that meant missing fingers and toes!

"And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole!"  Luke 17:12-19

Being grateful will make us whole!! In the past few years, as many have witnessed my peace in my storm, some have often wondered how it was that I could have such joy and peace after losing my daughter to suicide! But it was in my act of running to Jesus and being grateful IN THE STORM that HE MADE ME WHOLE! That means that He not only comforted me, but also that He restored me, giving me a sense of peace and joy as if it never had even occurred!   

In the midst of chaos and pain, choose to look for the silver lining, even when it's difficult to find. Sometimes it can seem impossible to find and you may think it's not even there, but it always is!!
Choose to be whole today and count your blessings!

When Love Bleeds...Love Worth Dying For

EVER FEEL LIKE NO ONE LOVES YOU? LIKE NO ONE EVEN CARES? 

Let me tell you the truth, right now!! You are so loved, by the VERY CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE!!

God SO LOVED THE WORLD that He gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, so that everyone believing in Him should not perish, but should have eternal life....      

In other words, GOD SO LOVED YOU, that He gave His One and Only, to die on the cross! 

When we accept His Son, Jesus, we become His children, however, we are adopted. God only has one son from His own seed, and that is Jesus, and He gave Him over to be exchanged for your life...for my life!
As a mother, I CANNOT EVEN IMAGINE giving a child of my own flesh and blood over willingly to die a painful death for another's life! WHAT LOVE that God the Father has for all of us that He gave His own Son to be paid as a death payment to redeem us from the tormentor!

You see, because of the fall of Adam, we were forever lost! We were hopeless; without a remedy! We would all die and be lost. Even though we were created to be in fellowship with the Father and live forever, but Adam and Eve, the first created humans, allowed the Deceiver, to trick them into eating of the one tree in the Garden that they were forbidden to eat from, the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
They were told by God that in the day that they ate of it that they would surely die. But Satan, the evil one, lied to them and tempted them to do so and so they did eat and sin and death entered the world.

And that is the world into which you and I were born, and the Deceiver is still going around deceiving the hearts of men and women and men and women are still falling prey to his evil schemes! 

BUT GOD HAD A PLAN!!! To send His own Son down to earth to die as a payment for our sin...    

   

THE ONLY WAY!! 

AND SO LOVE CAME DOWN! 

"And that was to send His own Son to be made a blood payment to redeem our lives! He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him." John 1:11

The children of God, the Israelite's, God's chosen people, rejected Him and killed Him! They beat Him, they whipped Him with flesh ripping tips and marred Him to the point that He no longer resembled a man! Then they crucified Him....they hung Him up on a cross by nails in His hands and in His feet, and He bled and died!

 The Israelites, God's Chosen people, killed the very One that they had been waiting for, hoping for!! They had been talking about Him coming for years! It was told that their Messiah was coming to save them! But when He came in a way they didn't expect, they missed it and KILLED THEIR VERY PROMISE FROM THE FATHER!! Their ONLY HOPE!!

This act of theirs, rejecting the foretold Messiah, was what opened salvation up for the whole world!! 

This had been foretold of by the prophets of God long ago, and so it was that it must happen for us so that we could be redeemed from the fall of Adam.

This one ACT OF LOVE so big was what was needed for you and I to be brought back into right standing with the Father again. 

And so it is that we are brought to the place of the cross! It is the cross that He died for you and I, and it is at the cross that we must come for forgiveness for our sins so that we can receive eternal life with our Maker, our Creator.

By accepting what Jesus did on that cross as a payment for our sins is what makes Him our Father and us His children. There is NO OTHER WAY! 

"There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

So run to Him today!! Run to the cross! Receive Him there and receive LIFE!! 

You see, He didn't just die on the cross and that's the end! No, there's more! 

When He died, He went down to hell and made an open spectacle of the devil...He took away from him the keys of death and hell and came back! Three days after He died, He AROSE! 

He came back from death and received His body back to life!! He went back up to heaven and now He is seated on His throne next to His Father!!

The Bible says, 

"He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross." Colossians 2:14-15

That means our charge of sin against us is canceled!

When we come to Him and receive Him as our Savior, He cancels our sin debt with His blood! We get a new  Master! No longer are we a slave to sin, but now we become a slave to righteousness! That's freedom in Christ! 

"Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living." Romans 6:18

The Bible says in Romans 10:9:

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

The Bible also tells us that He's coming back for us the same way He left...in the clouds:

"Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory" Luke 21:27

"Look, He is coming with the clouds," and "every eye will see him, even those who pierced him"; and all peoples on earth "will mourn because of him." So shall it be! Amen." Revelation 1:7

Receive Jesus today as your Savior, and receive ETERNAL LIFE!! 

Say this prayer out loud: 

Dear Lord Jesus, 

Come into my heart! Forgive me of my sins! Wash me and cleanse me and set me free!! I thank you that you died on the cross for me! I believe that you rose from the dead and that you are coming back again for me! Fill me with the Holy Spirit! Give me a passion for the lost; a hunger for the things of God, and a holy boldness to preach the gospel and share with others what I have been given! I am free! I am redeemed!
